Our lodge is close to family-friendly activities, restaurants & dining in the county town of Somerset. Our lodge is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers & families. The lodge is located within a 5 minute walk of the train station, 10 minute walk to county cricket ground & a short drive to J25 M5 motorway. There are a number of stunning hills, forests, & coastlines to explore not forgetting the opportunity to reward yourself with a local cream tea! All within an easy drive.

Westcroft Lodge is the perfect escape for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Somerset. An ideal getaway for those who enjoy the countryside, walking, cycling or simply stargazing. The Old Smithy is set is a secluded valley on the river Tavy. It is a mile from the nearest road, down a private track through beautiful moorland and woodland. It's an ideal base for walking, cycling wild swimming and getting away from it all, a true nature lovers paradise! We live in a house on the same site so will be on hand for any advice or assistance. We are on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and an hour's drive from numerous beaches. The thriving town of Tavsitock is 7 miles away.

The Dorset World Heritage Coast, Lyme Regis and West bay are just a 35 mins drive away.

The Annexe at Roseland is a quiet, spacious, well equipped one bedroom bungalow with gated parking in South Hams. Close to the edge of Dartmoor for plenty of walking and cycling. It is a few minutes drive to the small town of Plympton with usual amenities and a little longer into the Ocean City of Plymouth. It is within 30 minutes of the beaches of South Devon and Cornwall. It is a sustainable residence, heated by Air Source Heat Pump and mainly powered by Solar panels and batteries.

Great base for walking or cycling or just relaxing on the patio or strolling around our fields which have frontage to the River Teign. Several local country pubs nearby.
