Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The hut has a double bed, kitchen & dining area with folding table, fridge & ice box, combi microwave oven, double induction hob and Belfast sink. There is a shower room with flushing toilet. Ty Cartrefol used to our family home, hence the name Ty Cartrefol, the welsh name for Homely House. We believe that we can provide a welsh home from home experience for those are looking for it as well as a wonderful base for cyclists, walkers, tourists and families alike. We are in a residential area however we are are in the perfect location for our guests to experience Bike Park Wales, the Taff Trail and the beauty of the Brecon Beacons and so many other great places.

Old Miners Cottage, Abercanaid

This bright and modern old miners cottage is a self contained home which includes 3 bedrooms and a practical bathroom on the first floor. Meanwhile the ground floor contains a kitchen and a large living/dining area with lots of light. The garden includes a lock up area for 6 bikes, where padlocks can be added as well as a place to sit to have a drink and relax. WIFI is FREE! We are perfectly located for Bike Park Wales, Brecon Beacons, Merthyr Rising, etc.
