This historic forest service log cabin was built around 1940, and has been completely renovated with new electrical and plumbing while maintaining the flavor of the 40’s down to original wood floor with cleat marks from foresters’ boots and original cupboards and ceilings. This cabin is a unique piece of Montana history you won't want to miss! Please note there is no smoking at all, neither inside the cabin nor outside on the property. Fire place, flat screen TV, and WiFi available. Kitchen and cooking available. Private yard, camp fire, tent space available (your tent and your bedding), quiet neighborhood. We are located right off Hwy 2, so there is some highway noise. Enjoy a comfortable camping experience in beautiful, north west Montana.

Our guest studio is brand new and has a separate private outside, upstairs entrance. You will be a 5 minute drive from downtown Whitefish and staying in a beautiful, rural area of Whitefish. Our property rests on 5 acres and wildlife are frequent guests here. The guest studio has a very comfortable king sized bed with organic linen bedding. Black out shades are provided. There is a shower/bath combo in the large bathroom (separated by a door) and a hanging rod available for clothes

Cross country skiing from cabin, many quiet lakes in the area, Murray Lake perfect for paddleboards. With downtown Whitefish so busy, you will enjoy the tranquility. Winter season is gorgeous! 4wd needed anywhere in Whitefish.
