Enjoy staying in a piece of history within this old one room schoolhouse converted to a two bedroom home. Sit out on the swing or by the firepit as you enjoy peaceful sounds of the country and the creek adjacent to the property. Located right on the Bourbon Trail with only a 5 min drive to Maker’s Mark, 17 min to Limestone, and 20 min to Log Still Distillery. Venture in to the city of Springfield to learn about Abe Lincoln and his parents, married in the courthouse, still being used to this day!

There is a large upstairs sleeping space that has one queen bed and two twin beds. Beautiful wrap around porch. There is a separate over the garage apartment across the large driveway that accommodates 2 people as it is a one bedroom with a queen bed. Listed as Bourbon Trail Country Class.

Fully enclosed garage to park your vehicles or motorcycles. Spacious back yard with room for more parking if needed. Fire pit provided with a gas grill and outdoor furniture.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home. Enjoy watching the cattle graze and the farm views while being only minutes from town and in the heart of the Bourbon Trail. Ample space for guests and a dedicated workspace make this the perfect spot for anyone. I will do my very best to accommodate early check-in or late check-out when my schedule allows. There is also plenty of parking available for extra vehicles or if you have a trailer, etc.

Welcome to the country! Bring the whole family, a group of friends, or just yourself! This great place has lots of room and is perfect for a restful getaway. Located close enough to town but in the country, in a peaceful setting. Large front deck to sit and relax or grill your dinner and eat on the covered porch. Located right in the middle of the Bourbon Trail! (We do have outside cats and one Australian Shepherd pup)

McCord Carriage House Located on Bourbon Trail!

The McCord Carriage House is located in the heart of Springfield, KY. It is a beautifully restored carriage styled house with history dating back to 1902. Originally built by William Caldwell McChord to compliment his home and law office. For decades it has been an overnight rest stop and retreat for travelers and guests. With respect to its past the Carriage House has been carefully restored by its present owners.
