La petite maison est chauffée avec un poêle à bois. Vous pourrez vous détendre sur la terrasse. La propriété dispose d’un grand jardin. La maison se situe à 12 km de l’autoroute A20 et à 30 min de Limoges. Pour les voyageurs à deux roues ( vélos, motos) je dispose d’une grange pour les mettre à l’abri.

Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

Surrounded by forest, lakes and trails you can explore to your hearts content. This lovingly restored boathouse will allow you to switch off from the modern world, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

Parcours de marches sur place avec cascades et sentiers balisés. Idéalement situé à 10 min du lac des Bariousses, à 15 min de Treignac et à 30 min du lac de Vassivière ; vous pourrez profitez sur place des activités de tennis, balade en forêt ou le long de la rivière, sans supplément. Vous pouvez également pêcher sur l'étang.
