A 15 -20 minute walk to Maffeo Sutton Park and the inner harbour. From there stroll downtown and visit the many bars, restaurants and shops. Visit ‘Tourism Nanaimo’ for festivals and events. Private small one bedroom miners cottage in quite downtown neighborhood. Close to many amenities, VIU & hospital. Easy walk to the seawall, shopping and many restaurants. The cottage is set in a lovely garden with seating under the gazeboor under the grape arbor. Both hosts John and Marc are artists and have a small show room on the property that we a happy to open if our guests have a desire to see more of our art. Sorry we are unable to accept same day guests.
