The Nut House at Trails End, unique forest retreat

The Nut House is nestled in the 65000 + acre Shawnee State Forest. It is a unique COMPLETE get away in the forest in Southern Ohio. With 16’ cathedral ceilings, custom crafted artisan interior that compliments the view! Blue Creek has earned the name “The Little Smokies” for good reason. Peaceful & secluded ridge top cabin with 2 bedrooms. Located just 1 mile from Yatesville Lake (2,300 acre mtn reservoir with great fishing & bird watching) boat ramp in the Wildlife Management Area. Great semi-private area for fishing, kayaking, picnics and bird watching! There is a separate area for the marina and swimming beach. You’ll have everything needed to cook inside or outside, full kitchen with all your dishes pots & pans, clean linens & towels… Just bring your groceries & firewood!

The Cozy Cabin

Our "Cozy Cabin" getaway is located in a peaceful country setting. A creek & hillside is located behind the cabin. Relax on our 2 porches and enjoy the view of our field with horses grazing and deer passing thru. There is a fire pit, gas grill & small shelter house with swing for your outside enjoyment. All the amenities for a relaxing stay close to Yatesville Lake (18 miles), Rush Off-Road Park (13 miles) & Giovanni's Pizza (5 miles). Tristate area KY/WV/OH can be in all within 30 minutes.

Cliffside Properties / Carter Caves Cabin Rental

Perched on the edge of the canyon at the entrance to Carter Caves State Park, our 3-story cabin easily sleeps 10. On our twenty acre preserve, there are 5 cave entrances and two caves that open into the State Park gorge, with many box canyons and waterfalls to explore. Whether you're enjoying the State Park's massive natural bridges, cave tours, horseback riding, swimming, fishing or kayaking on Smoky Lake or Tygarts Creek, our Cliffside Cabin rental is a great place to relax and explore.

Queen size bed with full size bed in loft overhead. Microwave & small refrigerator. Dining table with 3 benches. Comfortable sitting chair with footstool. Fishing included in our 12-acre lake. Walking path runs the length of the campground. Bring bed linens (sleeping bag or blanket/sheet) & pillow, bath linens (towels/washcloths).

Relax with the whole family at this beautiful Cabin. A very peaceful place to stay. Sits on the Guyandotte River that's great for kayaking. Very close to the Hatfield McCoy Bear Wallow trailhead. Unload your ATV and hit the trail. Restaurant on site and also very close to a car wash. If you need a place to stay for the holidays while visiting family, this is the place for you! Just a couple of miles from Chief Logan State Park .

Nestled in the trees high above the water, the Overlook Cabin offers a peaceful, comfortable, and intimate experience of the Ohio River, with a large riverfront window, 8x12ft deck, & jacuzzi bath. The 12x40ft space has a queen, 2 twins, another bed in the loft, and a couch, and would be great for families, hunters, or couples. Local coffee provided. Owners live onsite should any issues arise. Pet friendly. Free wi-fi available.
