The property is also perfectly positioned for exploring Snowdonia, the castles of North Wales and historic Chester and Liverpool.

This cosy 'Red Shed' is tucked away in a tranquil 22 acre woodland in the Clwydian Hills, hosted by Rob & Claire. ​ Our quirky one-up, one-down self catering cabin is designed to accommodate 2 adults, but could sleep up to 4 if you don't mind being cosy... just ask! It is well equipped & most furnishings, including a beautiful greenwood bed are handmade. We welcome people attending craft courses in Wernog Wood, as well as walkers & other visitors to the area. All guests must be aged over 18yrs.

If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

The Granary - Dog Friendly watermill apartment

Secluded dog friendly apartment nestled in the Welsh borders Newly renovated, the accommodation forms part of an old watermill with its own access via an external stairs. The site is by the historic medieval market town of Ruthin, with multiple restaurants and bars (not to mention a pub within walking distance). There is secure parking and bike storage. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Surrounded by amazing views, including Hope Mountain one side and the remains of the old viaduct nestled in amongst trees the other side. Set within the grounds of the Hall, the accommodation provides a peaceful retreat. Just 13 miles from Chester, 17 miles from Chester Zoo and about an hours drive from Snowdonia. Lots of great walks in the area, also 'One Planet Adventure' is nearby offering mountain biking, walking and trail running.

There will always be a friendly welcome at Cor Isa, a cosy stylish retreat on the hillside overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdonia and Zip World only 1hr drive away. Walks and cyclepaths are plentiful in the surrounding area.
