Sunset house in Hydra

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The house is only 90 steps(usually are more than 200) from the Kamini sea side road but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

"Almyra" is a greek word that describes the saltiness of the sea water. This apartment is located in Kamini area, close to the small local port. It is part of a bigger building right by the sea, which used to be a tannery (tampakiko) -back to the 1840s. The House at the Centre

The "House in the center of Hydra" is a two floor apartment, located less than a minute away from the port. Built during the 19th century but recently renovated and redecorated, it is the first year that it is available for rent.
