Very private. This lake is great for kayaking, canoeing,and fishing. You can swim off the dock,but there are some lily pads. The water is clear,but the bottom of the lake is mucky at shore. We are located on The 10th hole of Portage Lake 18 hole golf course and are conveniently 3 miles from MTU and downtown Houghton with its beautiful waterway, restaurants, shops and minutes from the ski hill, nature trails. We are 60miles from Porcupine Mts/Lake of the Clouds, 40miles from Copper Harbor. Snowmobilers can connect to the main trails from ungroomed legal trail at the bottom of our road- Plenty of parking for your trailers. Come explore the U.P.!

The Loft is a spacious 4,000 sq ft Utopia designed for playing and relaxing. In fact It's like having your own private tiny resort and you won't want to leave. You can enjoy playing a plethora of games, relax in a hot tub, watch a movie on a 70 in TV, work out in the gym, or cook yourself a gourmet meal. The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
