Lake access with 2 kayaks for your use or bring your own kayaks boat or canoe and enjoy fishing and water sports on L Lake Kerr. Fresh water springs, hiking, trail riding, ohv and atv trail heads all within a short distance from home! Fire pits on the lake and at the house for your enjoyment! Large kitchen and laundry room plus tv’s in living room and both bedrooms.

Beary Comfortable Cottage

Our rental is located within the Ocala National Forest in Salt Springs, Florida which is perfect for ATV riding, boating, hiking, hunting and spring hopping to any of the 4 beautiful springs located within the Forest. We are conveniently located in the heart of Salt Springs that has restaurants and small grocery stores. Across the street is a marina that has access to Lake George and St. John's River perfect for boating and fishing. Cottage Includes 5 bikes and 5 kayaks for our guests enjoyment

Vintage hunt | fish camp 3 miles from Salt Springs Recreation Area. Relax on the deck, or critter watch off the dock. Conveniently situated in the Ocala National Forest, this rustic cabin is surrounded by graceful live oaks and is often visited by wildlife like deer, bear & sandhill cranes. Paddle the Silver River or snorkel the springs. Great fishing is around the bend. Note: Historic drought has lowered our lake levels significantly. Our lake is no longer navigatable out to Little Lake Kerr.

Other activities in the area include canoeing, boating, hiking, hunting, fishing, walking trails, swimming, and atv trails

Salt Springs Lodge

This home is locally referred to as "The Lodge." It is loaded with rustic charm and tons of trophy mounts, including a full-size gator rug. This house is spacious and yet cozy all at the same time. This home is located in the Ocala national Forest and yet only a half a block away from the park, which includes basketball, volleyball, tennis, softball, shuffleboard, and corn Holes. The caregivers live close by and are very friendly and helpful when needed. NO pets allowed on property.

Woodpecker Treehouse Retreat

Take some time for yourself and enjoy the treehouse, you will marvel at nature, you will be surrounded by beautiful birds of different types, explore the place just 10 minutes from Santos Trailhead and 35 from Rainbow Springs. After you finish visiting Ocala and seeing its incredible recreational areas, enjoy our hot tub with hydro massage, relax in our hanging mesh, gather around the fire pit and make s'mores. Our Treehouse promises the perfect blend of nature's tranquility and modern comfort!

Get away from it all under the stars. Breathtaking sunrise views, local wildlife, and the beautiful Ocala Forest at your door. The cabin sits adjacent to our home on 6 acres, located against the forest facing a marsh connected to Lake Kerr. The public boat ramp is 1 mile away & several other ramps to the Ocklawaha, St Johns River and Springs nearby. Hiking trails, Springs, kayaking nearby.

Welcome to your perfect lake retreat! Located on a no public access lake. This charming log home has a private dock and boat ramp suitable for launching your boat for fishing or skiing. There are kayaks on premises for use. This is an ideal location to enjoy North Florida’s lake life with family, friends, or work retreat. Includes a fully stocked kitchen, covered porch, fire pit, gas grill, and WiFi if you feel the need to plug in. NOT suitable for parties or events. NO loud noise, please.
