The Old Potting Shed, cosy retreat with hot tub

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

The Barn - a cottage in our barn near Ullswater

A bright, airy cottage in a converted barn on our small farm near Ullswater. There's plenty of space to spread out and relax with views to the front and rear straight onto the fells capturing sunrises and sunsets alike. Two bedrooms comfortably sleep up to 5 with the large double height kitchen/dining room a perfect space for a larger get-together. The downstairs includes the kitchen, sitting room, a bedroom and the bathroom and has been specifically designed to be wheelchair friendly.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. It's the perfect quiet, snug retreat for those looking to have a great hiking base in the Lake District, a romantic weekend away, or a homely space for individuals to reflect and relax.

Toddell Barn

Toddell Barn forms part of our traditional Lakeland longhouse farm, built in approximately 1710. Toddell Barn sits within approximately 7 acres of agricultural land that helps attract a wide variety of wildlife. Toddell Barn is located in the hamlet of Brandlingill (2 miles south of Cockermouth) and is within the northern boundary of The Lake District National Park, categorised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2017.
