The Little Hemp Cabin

Your hosts Emma and Ben have built this welcoming little cabin from hempcrete for your stay on Skye. Hemp is a carbon negative building material with numerous health benefits, and we're sure you'll enjoy sleeping in our comfortable, breathable, warm space. The accommodation includes a separate kitchenette and dining area designed with a relaxed, glamping feel. There's also a separate bathroom facility featuring a composting toilet—an eco-friendly choice that significantly reduces water use.

The cottage is cute,cosy&very simple accommodation,a great base for outdoor exploring,central to the best of the West Highlands,15 mins to Eilean Donan Castle, Dornie. near to Kintail,Plockton,Glenelg,Applecross,Isle of Skye The landscape is wild and spectacular. Spacious cabin with lovely views across the water to the hills Located in a quiet area. Close to all amenities,only 7 miles from the bridge Private space with parking. Breakfast supplies include,eggs,cheese,cereal,fruit,juice,bread,butter,marmalade,tea,locally roasted coffee,milk and oatcakes Please note,google maps is incorrect for the last 100 metres. Glas Eilean View, Dornie

Glas Eilean View is a delightful lochside 2-bedroom house in the picturesque village of Dornie. With stunning views over Loch Long toward the majestic Skye Cuillins and shoreside wildlife including oystercatchers, otters, and herons. The house is just a 5-minute stroll away from the world-famous Eilean Donan Castle, the most photographed castle in Scotland, if not the world! With the Skye Bridge nearby, it serves as the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Isle of Skye & Lochalsh.

A spacious cabin which is within walking distance to all local amenities (swimming pool, shops, restaurants & bars). It is approximately 10 mins walk to the nearest bus depot & local train station. Ideally situated for exploring the hills and mountains round about. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is only 1 mile away and the hills of Kintail are within easy reach at about 15 miles. The quaint, picturesque village of Plockton is close by and the historic Eilean Donan Castle 8 miles away.

Bothan dubh (Black Bothy) We are situated in Badicaul which is a 5 minute drive from the Skye bridge and a 10 minute drive in the other direction to the beautiful village of Plockton. We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful.
