De hut ligt aan de GR531, halverwege de berg Drumont(820 m) in de hoge Vogezen, randje Elzas in een parapent, ski en wandelgebied. Verwarmd met houtkachels en parkeerplaats voor de deur. In Bussang vindt u restaurants, winkels en een bakker. En tevens het Théâtre du Peuple, een uniek theater met ieder jaar een cultureel programma in juli en augustus.
