As the valley became more residential the cottage has been nicely converted to a comfortable indoor/outdoor living space. Pasture and farm still abound and mix with wildlife and recreation. Olympic National Park and Forest just to the south. Strait of Juan de Fuca and Dungeness Recreation Area to the north. Pacific Ocean to the west and Hood Canal and Seattle to the east.

The Bit & Bridle Cabin has that out-in-the-country feel, yet it is only minutes from Oak Harbor's town center. This small 17 acres farm provides Donna's horses room to play and live and Stan's Autobody & Paint Shop a place to thrive. Other buildings besides the Cabin and the owners' house are a covered riding arena, Stan Wingate's shop, a "Fowl Manor" and run, and a small family residence. Ten beautiful old apple trees are scattered around. The Cabin is next to one of the apple orchards.

This 400 sq foot studio apartment is bright and cute, just minutes from downtown Port Angeles in a quiet residential neighborhood. We have an electric car charger for guest use (J1772 plug). The sleeping area has a queen bed. There is a kitchenette including refrigerator, microwave, coffee, and toaster (no stove). There is a full bathroom and sitting area. A sunny deck and a garden hot tub are great extras.
