Nestled on a quiet beach access street, central to all the best attractions, shopping and eateries on Oak Island; close to attractions in Southport. Southport's Canary Cottage is a newly renovated southern, cottage located in a small, historic town along the Cape Fear River! Canary Cottage is located 1 mile from Southport, 2 minutes from the ferry's at Deep Point Marina & 20 minutes to the Oak Island beaches! While in Southport, enjoy the shops, the majestic Live Oaks, dine at fabulous cafes & restaurants with water views, take a carriage ride, watch the boats go by, go on a ghost walk or tour a museum. Southport has something for eveyone!

Drive 3 minutes to the Intracoastal waterway or famous Inlet waterfront restaurant. Ocean Pine is only 5 miles from Ocean Isle Beach + public boat/kayak ramps. Hop over to Holden/Sunset beach. North Myrtle is only 40 minutes away! Shallotte, NC is an inland beach town that invites your family + pets to enjoy the coastal experience, events and vibes.

Sandpiper~ Beachfront Cottage (pet-friendly)

Original beachfront cottage on Holden Beach, just steps from the sand and water. Enjoy the dolphins and shorebirds from the rockers on the covered porch. Cozy studio has been renovated with thoughtful upgrades. Kitchen is fully stocked including coffee maker, spices, condiments, and premium cookware. No stairs, ground-level are ideal for children, older guests, and pets (pet fee collected separately). Lots of amenities and beach items are provided for your comfort and convenience.

Pinch of Peace, Dogs Welcome!

This is a custom built dog friendly family beach house on the quiet west side of Oak Island, a five minute drive or bike ride to the beach, and one block to the Intercostal Waterway. Artfully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen, safely fenced back yard for dogs, screened back porch, super dog friendly beach, and a tiny house in back with one bed, sleeping; this house is a place for beach lovers who appreciate comfort and art and want their pooches along with them.

MILE TO THE ISLE 1.8 miles to Holden Beach bridge

Renovated and Immaculate comfortable beach cottage in a quiet neighborhood yet just 1.8 miles from the Holden Beach bridge. Shopping and dining are 15 minutes away in Shallotte. Myrtle Beach and Wilmington are both within an hours drive. If you prefer to relax, you can sit on the 10' x 22' deck just outside the kitchen door, or by the fire pit, on a rocking chair or the swing in the open back yard, which is ideal for playing fetch with your dog.
