A true nature lovers dream, find yourself relaxing on the expansive deck while enjoying stunning mountain sunsets! Welcome to the MoonCreek Cabin. This designer cabin is tucked in a quiet area surrounded by majestic trees w/ its very own seasonal stream, and a sweeping view of Lily Rock. This cabin opens up with vaulted ceilings, skylights to stargaze, large windows with amazing views, a fireplace with a warm ambiance in splendid isolation. Outside we have a huge wrap around deck w/ a hot tub. Let that mountain air filter out your stress, relax, rejuvenate and cuddle by the fire after a long day of play.

Conveniently located 3-minutes from the village, it is easy to enjoy the charms of Idyllwild and the beautiful San Jacinto mountains from the Treetop Terrace.

Just a few steps from restaurants, shopping, live music, events, art galleries, wine tasting, brewpub, coffee shops, bakeries, grocery store, theater and playground. Direct access to Strawberry Creek is just at the end of our street!

Fern Creek Cottage

This cabin was built in 1922 and has been lovingly maintained & upgraded. We're walking distance to restaurants, shops & a local microbrewery. Our guest cottage features a private deck overlooking Strawberry Creek and a natural fern garden, providing the perfect retreat and ideal setting for your morning coffee or afternoon wine. The kitchen includes a vintage stove & refrigerator for light meal preparation & the bedroom comes with a SleepNumber bed for your personalized sleeping comfort.

Ideally located close to town, only a 10-15 min walk to explore the local shops, restaurants, & art galleries. Just over 2 hours from Los Angeles or San Diego & 1 hour from Palm Springs, enjoy world-class hiking, breathtaking views, & all that the unique and preserved town of Idyllwild has to offer. Bathrooms were remodeled in 2023 and the kitchen in 2025!

Relax and enjoy nature at our beautiful, tranquil, lovingly remodeled A-frame cabin, now with a brand new master suite and sunroom! Within walking distance from the center of town, it's perfectly situated on a quiet street amongst the trees, buzzing with blue jays and hummingbirds. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

Cabin in the Sky in Pine Cove-Idyllwild

Nestled among cedars and oaks in the woods of Pine Cove, let this "Cabin in the Sky" be your mountain retreat. The spacious porch accommodates the trunks of tall pines giving it a treehouse feel. There is a table for dining al fresco, L-shaped outdoor seating and a swing just for gazing at the stars. Wrap yourself in silence; the only sound you will hear is that of foraging woodpeckers and nuthatches, or happy squirrels scurrying about. Celebrate wilderness in this cozy, secluded retreat!

The Owlz Downlow

“Artists’ Paradise!” This 500 sq ft one-bedroom storybook cabin (ideal for just two adults - no parties!) was built in 1930 by Idyllwild miners and is hidden on an acre of thick woods with private hiking trails where you will discover a large hovering UFO, 2 real crashed airplanes, among other artifacts. It is also home to the owner’s vintage Jeep and motorcycle collection. Every room is filled with original rock and roll themed art projects and the kitchen ceiling is a museum unto itself.

The Far Out - A Frame cabin in the woods

The Far Out is a classic A-frame cabin nestled in the beautiful woods of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains. This mountain retreat sits on an acre of land, complete with a 1200 sq ft wooden deck and semi-sunken hot tub. The interior décor is impeccably curated, blending vintage character with modern design for a distinctly cool cabin vibe. Set far back from the road, the cabin and the grounds offer a magnificent private space for a relaxing getaway. Beauty abounds at The Far Out!
