The cabin features a spacious yard, two fire pits for evening gatherings, and a fully remodeled kitchen.

The area is well known for its sparkling turquoise waters and clean public sandy beaches. Just two blocks to Newman St and you can enjoy local shopping and dining or the ice cream and chocolate shops, and the 1935 historic movie theater. Bring your boat and enjoy Lake Huron or catch some fish for dinner. Kayaks and canoes can be put in at various spots along the Au Sable River.

Catamaran Cottage is located in Anchorage Cottages & Retreat Center on the sandy shores of the Great Lake Huron. It is 1 of 6 cottages on the property. This rustic cabin is fully furnished and has shared beachfront a few feet away from your door. Picnic tables, firepits, a charcoal grill and beach furniture help round out your quintessential Up North experience here in Oscoda.

The 2 bedrooms have queen beds with high quality bedding and connect with a Jack & Jill bathroom. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Public boat ramp in town right on 23 and plenty of room to park your boat in the driveway. We provide bed linens, bath linens and first cup of coffee

Country Air - Unplug and Getaway

Please be courteous as this is a special piece of family property. Our place is close to outdoor activities, nature, 15-minute drive to local beaches. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors, location, relaxation & quiet. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Please take note of directions to home, sometimes GPS is incorrect. Also, special reminder of drinking water if wanted, as house has well water.

The Beachfront Hideaway

Discover the ultimate lakeside retreat at Beachfront Hideaway, a spacious two-bedroom cabin designed for relaxation and fun. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom comes with a sturdy bunk bed, ideal for kids or additional guests. In the large living area, you’ll find a queen-sized futon. One set of towels will be provided with your stay. We do not have laundry on site, please plan accordingly.
