Two of the bedrooms have king beds, the third has a queen bed, and there's a day bed (with a good mattress!) in the sun room. All upstairs rooms are off the reading lounge featured in the photos. The living room/meditation room has a working fireplace, essential for warming the soul during the colder months. Find your favorite spot to create, read, and connect. Free street parking is available on side opposite of house; restrictions apply Thursday evenings depending on the season, check signs. Free street parking available on other side streets, metered parking on others. Of course, check appropriate signs where apply. There's an Enterprise Car Rental on Fairview Ave which I believe do pickups and drop offs. For recreation there is hiking in the valley and nearby conservancy areas, biking on country roads, or cross-country, downhill or snowshoeing during the snowy months. Hawthorne is a 2-hour drive from NYC or a 2-hour Amtrak ride from Penn Station to Hudson, and then a 20 minute drive by car or taxi. The house is conveniently close to the Taconic Parkway, while set in a peaceful and quiet valley.

This is my new catskill cottage. We are proud to offer you the perfect place for your retreat with more than 4 acres of maple trees, streams, old stone walls, spring and sitting on a small hill. I put all my effort in creating the best place to spend a weekend or a full season (all four seasons are beautiful and with plenty of things to do in the Catskills). There are two bedrooms, one is actually a loft on the second floor open to the living area. All spaces are generous for this 840 sq ft house. you´ll love the areas including the kitchen and bath. Guest can access all areas. I´m not around sometimes but you can reach me on the Airbnb app msg or by email. Instruction on how to arrive will be sent a few days before. From NYC: Just take the Trail ways bus to Oneonta NY, and it will drop you a few hundred feet from the house. Same back to the city!. Our artistic, spacious , comfortable home is set on 13 (fairytale-esque) private, forest acres. We are minutes away from hiking trails, swimming lakes, and the Hudson River where you can kayak. The house is located on 13 acres of land just minutes away from the vibrant shopping of downtown Cold Spring, NY. It is surrounded by lakes and hiking trails, including the Appalachian Trail. We are minutes away from the Cold Spring train station. From here, you can get to Manhattan in an hour and 10 minutes. Occasionally our two small hypoallergenic dogs are with us in the house — one toy poodle and one shih tzu. If you'd like to bring your dog(s), this is a pet friendly home! Our dogs will not stay here when you visit, of course.
