Both bedrooms have zip and link king size beds, which can be split into single beds on request. Beautiful 17th century cottage, in the heart of the Pennines. Situated in Todmorden, West Yorkshire our beautifully restored cottage built in approximately 1665 and overlooking the vibrant market town of Todmorden and only 5km away from the artisan and beautiful town of Hebden Bridge. It provides an ideal base to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire including; Howarth, the home of the Brontes, Halifax, including the Piece Hall and Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister and the Pennine Way.

The Workshop, in 18th century Lothersdale Mill

On the ground floor of an attractive former textile mill, on the Pennine Way in North Yorkshire. The rural valley of Lothersdale is five miles from Skipton and on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We offer bike use, numerous country walks and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). It will suit animal lovers (with or without their own well-behaved dog) as the animals can be seen from large windows and you may well wake to the sounds of a cockerel, the eeyore of mini donkeys or the bleating of pygmy goats. All the proceeds for this listing go towards the upkeep of the Hart Farm Animals.

Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. It is self contained with one spacious bedroom which has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed. We are close to Dewsbury Hospital with easy access to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. M1 and M62 motorway links. We have made the cottage as comfortable as possible to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Leave your car behind and walk everywhere around this picturesque town, full of independent cafes and restaurants, artisan shops, galleries, pubs, live music and even an independent cinema and local theatre. (on street parking IS available, but we say the best way to see Hebden Bridge is by foot).
