You will love the super comfy beds, Super king size in the main bedroom ( this is a ziplink bed and can be made into 2 single beds, please state when booking if you require this option) And a single bed in the second bedroom. Light and spacious rooms with lovely decor. The cottage is only a five minute walk to Sunderland Empire, and city.

Seaside cottage stunning village

Located in a beautiful fishing village, just a few minute walk to a stunning coastline and beaches, the village has great restaurants, cafe, Blues micro pub and a friendly pub ‘the jolly sailor’. 5 minute walk to Latimers fish restaurant, then further along the road is seaburn with plenty bars and restaurants, a stunning beach. There is buses from the village to Sunderland and South Shields. Why not walk along the stunning coastal path to South Shields or over cleadon hills with stunning views.

Our Sea view apartment is ideally located with views over the iconic Roker pier and seafront. There are numerous eateries lining the coastal walk along the blue flag beaches to Whitburn Cliffs. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

At the end of a wooded lane, through a farm gate, two 1930s cargo rail carriages recovered from the North East Railway have been transformed into cosy retreats at Lockhaugh Farm.
