Peaceful retreat down gravel driveway 15 min from Mayo Clinic. Enjoy your own apartment with private backyard walkout entrance to the lower level of our home. You will have a bedroom, living area, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven (no conventional stove/oven), bathroom w/ tub & shower, pingpong table, laundry, and patio with fire ring. You may hear piano music weekday afternoons, since I give lessons (usually 3-6 pm; a bit earlier in summer) NEW HEATED FLOORS w/thermostat

During this time, with the Coronavirus and the need for social distancing, Lisa & I would like to assure you that the Suite is completely yours and there is no shared space within the home. Located just minutes from downtown Clear Lake, the historic Surf Ballroom, and City Beach, this is the perfect get-away spot! A large upper loft makes this a great option for families with kids or a peaceful adult retreat. Pets are family... so we are pet friendly, but do add a $25 dollar pet fee (per pet) for the duration of your stay.

Have coffee on deck overlooking a pasture with the two miniature (little ones can sit on them) ponies and the friendly llama that begs for carrots. The pigmy goats love to eat weeds you feed them. The house and barn were built in 1880 by Norwegian immigrants Ole and Britta.
