A thoughtfully designed studio with stylish and modern features. The balcony and ocean view is one of the highlights of our space. Just a short distance from Honoliʻi Beach Park (3 minute drive or 15 minute walk) we live in a safe, quiet neighborhood on the Hāmākua Coast. The space includes WiFi, TV, and kitchenette with small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and all the dinnerware and silverware for light fares. Newly constructed unattached studio cottage with canopy queen size bed and super comfortable full size futon. Indoor bath with shower and outdoor bamboo shower. Brand new kitchen and an adorable lanai for enjoying the panoramic view of sunset or morning coffee. Our teak swing above the cottage offers a horizon view of the ocean.

Our 1500' elevation makes a perfect cool, peaceful evening respite after a day of beach going, hiking at Volcano National Park and enjoying Hilo's dining and entertainment. The property features a distant ocean view, many fruit trees, aquaponics, gardens, plenty of animals including dogs, Angus cows, chickens and a macaw named Li'i! Interacting with the animals on our ranch is part of the property's charm.

We at Hawaii Volcano Coffee Company welcome you to stay at our beautiful studio cottage overlooking one of our many organic coffee orchards. We are located between two of the Big Islands most iconic areas; Hawaii Volcano National Park and Hilo's beaches, approximately both a 20-minute drive from the studio. (REF TAX ID TA005-218-0480-01) Enjoy time in a small (384 sq ft) self-contained guest shack with full kitchen in a rural setting. If you don't find the sound of coqui frogs at night obtrusive to your sleep, then this space would be suitable. While you will have privacy, my dad stays in the main house in case you need assistance in person. We are located at about 100 foot of elevation which provides for relatively cooler nights.

Though the rental is far from the slow, red cinder road that takes you there, town and stores are accessible via new highway with memorable views through the 2018 Kilauea lava flow.
