Renovated to a high spec, with a slipper bath in the bedroom. You will find everything you need for a relaxing, self catering break. Views out towards the Monnow Valley, Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Black Mountains. Plenty of things to do, see and visit in the area. Dog friendly (two pooches) and has a wood fired hot tub to star gaze.

Countryside retreat

My Husband and I moved to Herefordshire in late 2019 and we love it here. The property is surrounded by farming countryside and yet is just a few minutes in to Leominster & with easy access to beautiful towns all around. A fully self-contained 2 bedroom cottage which is attached to the main house. A fantastic place from which to explore. We are just off the old Hereford Road with plenty of parking. Cows and sheep roam the fields around us, and there are cowsheds behind us for Winter use.

Located just 3 miles from the book-lover's haven of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its literary festivals and easygoing charm, it is the perfect place to escape to.

The open plan living space comprises of a Kitchen with full amenities, a sitting room, with a comfy sofa and a log burner. The bedroom has a very comfy King Size bed and a TV. The bathroom boasts a large shower and a double-ended roll top slipper bath. Outside is a large decking area with your own personal Hot Tub to relax in after taking on some of the many walks in the areas.

Wye View Cottage

The semi- detached cottage is set in a peaceful location with breathtaking views of the Wye Valley. The cosy cottage is set in an ideal location for either a peaceful relaxing break or an active holiday with foot paths, bike trails, canoeing and rock climbing right on the door step. The cottage has its own garden with seating areas to sit and relax whilst taking in the panoramic views across the valley. There are a few traditional pubs and restaurants nearby.

The Stables is a single storey stone property converted 12 years ago, it is part of‘Cotts Farm’ and is situated at the end of a private tree lined drive, and nestled in the heart of Lugwardine. It is a 10 min stroll to a beautiful country pub, with beer garden. Hereford city centre is a mere 2.5 miles. Ideally situated for visits to historic towns of Ledbury, Ross On Wye and the Wye Valley, Leominster and Ludlow, the Malvern Hills just a stones throw away!

Hay festival is also close enough to use this gorgeous cottage as a base.
