Looking for a place to stay and play? This waterfront property with large fenced yard and private dock is perfect for families, time with friends or fishermen going after the big catch. And bring your pets! Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck, looking down to the lake and evenings on the dock enjoying the amazing sunset. Property is on deep water and you can swim and float right off the dock! 5 basic kayaks included. Boat lift is not available but fiberglass whips are there for your boat.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Lakefront - The Parisian Cottage Getaway

Our Parisian Cottage is delightfully spacious. With tall ceilings in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. The oversized kitchen with eat-in island makes for a wonderful entertaining space. The loft ceilings are 4' tall but oh-so-fun for the kiddos. The loft retreat is set back from the living room lending itself to a more private loft experience. Capture magnificent sunsets from the lovely lake front porch. It has ramp access to the home from the parking lot and stairs towards the lake.

The Stockard Stay a While

"The Stockard Stay Awhile" is located in the peaceful countryside 6 miles west of Athens, Texas off of Hwy 175. Recently remodeled, this charming apartment can sleep 4 comfortably. You will be close to Canton (First Monday) 25 miles, Tyler-45 miles, Cedar Creek Lake -10 miles, or Dallas -60 miles. We are located in a quiet rural area with cows, horses, and birds for neighbors. Come stay awhile and listen to the sounds of the country and soak in the beautiful pastoral scenes.-

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This tree house is sitting on stilts among trees where a beautiful oak tree comes through the elevated outside dining patio area. The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
