This adorable completely re-modeled cottage is steps away from the beautiful, sandy, salt water beach known as Coolen's Beach in Shad Bay, Nova Scotia. Twenty minutes from Halifax with hiking, kayaking, golf courses and restaurants all close by and scenic Peggy's Cove a short 20 minute drive away. Please read: Our family of three live upstairs with two dogs who bark from time to time. You can expect some normal noise, we provide earplugs and a sound machine for extra comfort. Relax in a private cozy basement basement apartment with separate entrance and parking, just across from Hatchet Lake with tons of nature and trails around. Sleeps four comfortably with two queen beds. Sorry, no pets, our pups upstairs have the furry quota covered!
