The Byre at Cold Christmas

Escape to the country and stay in a cosy converted barn with a log burning stove and a secluded sunny patio area with outdoor dining and barbeque. Positioned in the beautiful countryside near Ware town, Cold Christmas has an abundance of lovely walks and is conveniently situated close to Hanbury Manor and Fanhams Hall, both of which offer a variety of amenities including a golf course, health spa and fine dining. Ideal for a short stay or a longer break in the lovely picturesque town of Sawbridgeworth, with railway links to London and Cambridge in 40 minutes. Trains also to Stansted Airport in 20 minutes. 10 minute walk in to Sawbridgeworth, where there are several great pubs & restaurants, and to the train station and bus stops. The beautiful river Stort is a 2 minute walk away. Nearby is Hatfield Forest, the Henry Moore foundation and Audley end house. Free parking available. NO CLEANING FEE ADDED!

Created to offer a luxurious stay, TheCabin is equipped with a Kingsize bed and luxury bathroom. In the kitchen there is a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, mini air fryer oven, fridge, induction hob, pots and pans. For breakfast you have eggs, fresh milk, bread, and a variety of cereals, jams and spreads. The Old Stables are in a courtyard, set back from Windhill, right in the heart of Bishops Stortford, close to restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops. Conversion of a historic coach-house and stables into a self-contained cottage which sleeps 4 or even 5/6 by arrangement. There is a high-ceilinged entrance hall with wood burner. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped. There are two double beds in the same room (one on a mezzanine floor above the other) and a double sofa bed in the dining area.

Escape to the beautiful English countryside with a group of friends or family to this stunning barn conversion on the edge of Bishops Stortford. With it's exposed oak beams, log fireplace and hot tub, this is a special place to relax in comfort and unwind, a perfect escape from the city. We aim to provide a luxurious stay in this 3 bedroom barn conversion which can sleep up to 6 people. All three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and we use B-Corp bedding, shampoos & conditioners.

The annexe is decorated to a high standard. it contains a kitchenette and shower room The bed room has a double bed, cable TV and internet, it also has a small table and chairs enough to eat or use as a workspace The annex very near the station about a 2 minute walk. with really good link to London, Stanstead or Cambridge. There are also local High St with small supermarket, restaurants and takeaways. We are also within walking distance of Superstores and a cinema.

The Lodge at Briggens Home Farm is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom self contained cosy modern annexe located in a beautiful rural Hertfordshire setting only 1 mile walking distance to Roydon village and train station with fast links to London Underground (15mins) and Stansted Airport (30mins). There are numerous country walks just a few steps from the lodge, one of which leads to the River Stort (15min walk) from where you can carry on exploring miles of river walkways.

The Barn, beautiful rural retreat

The Barn is located within the grounds of our Grade 2 listed Cottage and yet is far enough away from the main house to allow our guests privacy. The property offers two luxurious double bedrooms and a modern bathroom with shower and bath. The light and spacious living / kitchen area is fully equipped with all appliances including a dishwasher and provides comfortable seating for all our guests. Guests will receive a welcome pack of goodies on arrival.
