We're 5 minutes away from the Conowingo Dam for eagle watching, and close to Fairhill Nature Ctr, Great Wolf Lodge/Casino and many State Parks, hiking trails and kayaking & fishing options.

With a half mile of hiking trails, and over 600 feet of frontage on Octoraro Creek, there are numerous options for taking in the natural beauty: warm up by our two firepits, lounge in a hammock, take a dip in the river, or fish for trout from the shoreline. A secluded retreat that feels remote, but moments from the civilization you came to escape.

Unwind in our cabin tucked away on a private lane mins from Chestertown. We are situated on 6.5 wooded acres, perched up on 100’ bluff overlooking Churn Creek, a tributary off the Chesapeake Bay. Idyllic water views framed by a canopy of oak trees. Enjoy nature as you relax outside by the fire pit or stroll down to the ‘point’ to take in wildlife, or take a kayak out to explore the creek and water fowl. Deer come up through the woods and are often spotted on the property.

The kitchen with beautiful stone counters and full amenities has an old pine table that is a great spot to enjoy breakfast as you look out over the pastures. We are close to all the local horsing events and breweries, 30 minutes from the highway. Please note, this is the country and there are critters of all shapes and sizes out here! As it says Rustic and “Glamping”..meaning an upgraded camping experience, but by no means can we offer the same comfort temperature wise as an indoor setting. A fun stop for the night, or enjoy a full evening with a movie and firepit. Also, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area, as well several local breweries.
