This beautiful little cabin nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley Vineyards was built by a master Austrian craftsman. Featuring modern design touches and beautiful timber finishes this stylish, classy getaway is private and serene with views over vineyards to the Broken Back Ranges. We are a fully operating farm so that might mean late night harvesting and an operating cellar door over the weekends. The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.

Our cottage is a 2 bedroom, unique cottage, sitting atop a hill of 100 undulating acres and boasting views once enjoyed by the old observatory that stands beside it. The cottage is a 30-35 minute drive to the gorgeous Forster/Tuncurry so whilst enjoying the serenity of a rural property you also have pristine beaches so close - best of both worlds !! 10 mins to the quaint village of Nabiac, vintage shops, homewares, cafe, pub, pool, tennis court and wineries close by.

We're only 3 mins from the Pacific Hwy, 20 mins from Blackhead & Diamond Beach and 25 mins from Forster/ Tuncurry. Once a working dairy, now converted to a one bedroom cottage with a spacious, sun-filled living area, full kitchen, newly renovated bathroom and cosy Queen-sized bedroom with a beautiful outlook onto the paddocks.
