The Great Escape is on the shore of beautiful Lake Fork in Emory, Texas. It's a charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with wood beams, shiplap walls, and more! The backyard boasts a large covered porch with grill, a beautiful pergola with individual swings, and a large covered dock with boat slip as well as covered and uncovered seating areas. The Great Escape is situated in a quiet, private neighborhood and is perfect for a guys' fishing trip, a girls' get together, or any getaway you choose!

The Green Cabin

The Green cabin full of peace and comfort. Secluded, but not far from Mineola mainstreet shopping or Lake Fork fishing. A real farm cabin. It's close to the livestock, but not too close. A comfortable porch wraps the cabin in warmth and gives a place to sit and enjoy the country. Only six miles from Mineola, close to Canton and only a few minutes from Lake Fork. Come and enjoy. Play disc golf, cornhole, basket ball, board games, or just stay to yourself. We hope you have a great time here.

A Little Countryside Paradise

Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.

Relax and enjoy country living with fresh air, pasture and pond view, and beautiful starry nights. Live amongst free range chickens (fresh eggs!), a stocked pond and cows. Relax on the back patio with a ceiling fan and a view of the pond. Kitchen has a microwave, air fryer, hot plate, crock pot and coffee pot as well as a refrigerator. Queen size bed sleeps two. My place is 6 miles east of Mineola, TX. Close to antique shopping, Mineola nature preserve, public lakes, 30 minutes to Canton First Monday trades days, and many other spotlights in East Texas. You’ll love my place because of the cozy, farmhouse atmosphere and country living. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Not suitable for kids or children, and I do not allow pets or animals of any kind on the property.
