There are wonderful fishing spots in the Gaular River.Fossestien's waymarked paths provide many different mountain trails. In the evening, you can lounge on the terrace with its 7-seat Jacuzzi, gas barbecue, and garden furniture. Hytta er 120 kvm og var ferdig våren 2020 . Hytta har svært høg kvalitet med "Madsstova" frå før 1850 -opprinneleg frå Jølster. Hytta har 2 peisomnar, vaskerom og sauna. Ved hytta er det ein overbygd uteplass og båt og kano kan skaffast, men må bestillast særskilt. For å fiske i vatnet må ein kjøpe fiskekort. Hytta ligg ved Viksdalsvatnet/Hestadfjorden og i eit flott turområde. Vidare oppover dalen kjem ein til Gaularfjellet og over til Sogn. I motsett retning ligg Førde med 13000 innbyggarar

If you need to relax, this cabin, in natural surroundings is perfect for you! The name of the cabin is "Urastova". On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. We have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, motor boat and 2 SUP boards for rent if available and on request.
