It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. Welcome to The Wee Lodge! We are located in sunny Ayrshire amongst open skies and rolling hills that descend down into the beautiful Clyde Estuary. See more on insta @StoopidFlat_farm The Wee Lodge is a wooden one bedroom house made by the 'Wee Hoose Company'. It sits in our farmsteadings overlooking hills and fields, with Arran and the Clyde in the distance. It is surrounded by pine trees, and with the decor reminiscent of a Scandinavian lodge, has a very peaceful feeling.

Bird Island Bothy

Wake with the rising sun, shrill calls of the wading birds, and waves breaking on the shore only meters away. The wild shore and vegetation provide a great habitat for birds, mammals, insects and spiders typical of the Irish coast. Wading birds can be seen feeding along the undisturbed shore. Bird Island Bothy has the feel of a sailing ship's cabin with chunky wooden beams, mock four-poster bed and plush velvet curtains. A great base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula.

Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

Holly is a very special Pod, it is perfect for couples who just want to get away and have an amazing time. it's a larger Pod with its very own bedroom. Yet again everything you need smart tv, microwave, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster this one even has a dishwasher, lovely Belfast sink with wooden worktops. it also has a sofa bed so can sleep 4. There is also a large private decking area with its very own wood fired hot tub and barbecue, all wood supplied.

Kyle Lodge is our new one bed lodge set in the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church (which sleeps 12). It is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a roll top bath with views of open countryside. The secluded and sheltered covered decking area with woodburner allows you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.
