Beautifully decorated the hut has a double bed, fully equipped kitchen with a hob and microwave, it has its own bathroom, shower, toilet and sink. Towels and bedding all provided. Room for one Dog

Local amenities are within walking distance include, cafes, local shop, post office and hotels with bars. Visit the Loch Ness exhibition centre and Urquhart Castle. Fort Augustus is 13 miles away and offers spectacular views down Loch Ness. Inverness is 20 miles away and offers a variety of shops and restaurants.

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.

The Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring Loch Ness and enjoy hiking the beautiful hills.

Unlike many Loch Ness cottages, we are not on a road, just the garden between us and the Loch. You’ll love the panoramic views of Loch Ness, the idyllic location, private beaches, and total peace and quiet. 1 or 2 well behaved dogs (small or medium size) welcome. In July and August, Saturday arrivals/departures only.
