Forest Cozy Home

My house in Forestville is a walk to the river (Steelhead County Beach), near endless wineries, canoe rentals, gorgeous Sonoma coast beaches, Santa Rosa airport, a bicycle trail through West County with bike rentals in downtown Forestville offering immediate access to the trail, and a very well-stocked little grocery store a 5-minute walk down the hill. Lovely back roads take you to Healdsburg to the north or Sebastopol to the south. My dog & I stay in a basement studio when guests are here.

The best part is that this privacy comes only minutes away from all that the Russian River has to offer, from kayaking on the river (5 minute walk down to the beach), a night out in Guerneville, the Pacific Ocean at Goat Rock Beach, or the Westside Road wineries. Our house is located on a hill in a quiet neighborhood just above downtown Guerneville. The house has high ceilings, a full kitchen, a large deck, and a yard lined with enormous olive trees. It is a five minute walk to coffee shops and restaurants and a twenty minute drive to the Sonoma Coast.

My sunny '70s, Sea Ranch style, 2 bedroom cabin with exposed redwood cathedral beam ceilings has amazing canyon and redwood tree views. There's a hot tub, too. It's in a very special neighborhood with really nice people. And it's close to some of the best wineries in the Russian River Valley.
