Rhubarb, the Station House Steam Railway Hut

Rhubarb is a well appointed self-contained shepherd's hut for two. There's an amazingly comfortable king size bed, kitchenette, shower room and flushing toilet. There is central heating so if the evening is chilly you won't be! Situated in the garden of the old Station Master's House at East Somerset Steam Railway Rhubarb is directly adjacent to the station sidings with a wonderful view of the steam trains. We include a complimentary Rover ticket so you can ride for free during your stay!

A quiet luxury getaway

The Cider House is a converted barn tucked away in the village of Pilton, Somerset. It is a large airy and light space. It has a private courtyard and garden, 24 hour under floor heating and hot water. There is a top quality superking bed, excellent for having sleeps in, with hand pressed sheets. To augment heat there's a wood burning stove. We supply and lay a first fire for you with enough logs to get it going after which you can purchase a sack of seasoned logs from us for £10.00 a bag.

The shepherd's hut is set in the heart of rural Somerset near Bruton. It stands alone in a beautiful meadow with intricate paths winding through the long grass. The silence and birdsong in the morning are remarkable and there are incredible views of Creech Hill. You can walk from the hut and further afield. The hut is a good size and is light and airy while the wood burner adds to the cosy atmosphere. The deck is perfect for outdoor eating. The shower and compost loo are adjacent to the hut.

The Annexe is a comfortable, spacious and versatile place to stay with its own separate entrance. Suitable for 4 people, the double bed can be split into two singles and the singles in the second room are of the narrow kind. Nestled in the heart of Batcombe, our renovated coach house offers a comfortable place to stay. The cottage is situated in a picturesque village a few yards from fantastic walks across the mendip hills. Bookings for Christmas, Easter min 3 days also bank holidays must be a minimum of 3 nights, Friday-Monday. Also up to 2 dogs are very welcome. There is a £10 per dog per night charge which can either be added to Airbnb booking or paid when here.
