Welcome to Stu's corner me 'ansomes, the perfect smugglers hideaway not far from the A30, Bodmin moor and the infamous Jamaica Inn - the home of Dick Penworthy the famous highwayman and his cat the Beast of Bodmin - some say his distant relatives still drink in the bar, and keep your eyes peeled fer 'is cat because 'ees huuge - a true beast, I know cos I seen im! Anyway me beauties back to Luxulyan, tis a beautiful little village nestled right 'ere in the centre of Kernow amongst the granite boulders. You will find all sorts; miners, smugglers, wreckers and of course the Luxulyan valley featured on TV, and some say, did have the deepest copper mine in all Kernow owned by Mr Treffry 'imself. While you're 'ere why not take a train ride to Newquay, my beauties as we 'ave our own station, stick yer hand out mind to make 'im stop. Visit some of our local ports like Polperro - a little smugglers port steeped in local history with its own museum. Fowey of course with all its fine eateries, frequent tall ships visiting and don't forget regatta week. There's Polkerris beach too with its inn on the sand, and then there's Charlestown me 'ansomes, often seen in the Poldark series re named as Truro quay. To top it all only a short hike or 10 minutes on your 'oss is the iconic World famous Eden Project home of the Domes and the acclaimed Eden music sessions and they'm bleddy loud cos we can 'ear em from 'ere. Luxulyan is also world known for 'Luxullianite' a very special rock cos tis pink and was used to make the Duke of Wellingtons coffin, so they say, and shipped out of Par, can't say for sure though cos I wasn't there. While you're stayin' 'ere we have a local pub serving good food, we have a well stocked shop and post office and not forgetting the pretty little church. There's plenty of parking for your 'oss and cart right next to mine and tis a beauty cos I bought it off Cap'n Poldark 'imself. So that's it me 'amsomes, look forward to seeing you all 'ere. One bedroom apartment within 2 minute walk from Carlyon Bay Hotel and Spa, 18 hole cliff top golf course and stunning 2 mile long beach with Pop up bars, Restaurants and Water Sports Center (high season only). Charlestown Harbour with many pubs and restaurants is a 20 minute walk along the cliff path or 5 minute drive away. Eden Project is a 10 minute drive away. The area is perfect for Paddle boarding, kayaking, open water swimming and snorkeling. Local groups welcome tourists to join in.

All home comforts supplied apart from towels. Beds made up on arrival along with a welcome pack to start your holiday off. Private off road parking. Complimentary breakfast foods supplied for your first breakfast staying with us. We are 5 minutes drive from Carlyon bay hotel and 10 minutes drive from Fowey!

Brecombe Barn is within a short driving distance of both north and south coasts and main tourist attractions inc The Lost Gardens of Heligan,The Eden Project and Charlestown. Brecombe Barn is based close to owners property has its own private access, private parking and garden, is not overlooked and has views of surrounding fields.

We are handily located for the stunning beaches of St Austell Bay and a 30 minute drive from Newquay's surf beaches. The harbour village of Charlestown is three miles away and we are within easy reach of the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Krowji means ‘cottage’ or ‘cabin’ in Cornish and is a timber-framed single-storey build next to our 300 year old cottage. A cosy, yet light and airy retreat for two, Krowji is located at the end of a private lane in Carlyon Bay, just a 20 minute walk from the bustling historic harbour of Charlestown. Krowji offers off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed outdoor courtyard with seating areas. * Please note, although at the end of a quiet lane, we are next to the main rail line.

Welcome to our annex, nestled in a peaceful village away from the main road and set in a quiet location up a short lane. This light and airy accommodation is attached to our family home (you may hear us from time to time), with the convenience of private parking, private entrance and private courtyard, overlooking the lawn. It's designed to provide a comfortable home-from-home experience with all the amenities you'll need whilst in Cornwall exploring or having a welcome break!

Connie's Cottage, Charlestown

For just two people, Connie's Cottage stands within 250 metres of Charlestown's famous harbour and beaches and of the South West Coast Path. Stone built and with many original beams and slate floors the cottage is very characterful but has been sympathetically modernised and includes gas fired central heating. There is non-restricted car parking available immediately to the rear of the cottage however in high season it may be necessary to park in the nearby pay car park.

Bootlace Cottage in Tywardreath

This special place is a converted cobbler's shop opposite a church in the heart of the historic village of Tywardreath, which boasts a wonderful pub and shop. Fowey, the Eden Project and Charlestown are all just a short drive away. This charming cottage is self-contained and is within walking distance to Par Beach and Par Station. The fully equipped kitchen contains everything you need and there is an outside terrace to enjoy your morning coffee and a sundowner.
