When we first saw our place, we fell in love with the views, yet we never imagined becoming a sanctuary for animals (and humans too)! As parents, our only regret is not doing this sooner! There is a view of meadows and guests are welcome to stroll the half-mile around the property and view the sheep, dogs and horses. Birdlife is abundant and nearby is Cat Haven ( featuring lions, snow leopards etc.). Yosemite is within reach for a day trip . Great coffee 2 minutes away! Sorry, no assistance animals (see house rules)

Plunge into or practice your casting in our private river (Runs April through December). Originally built in the 1890s. Nestled in over 14 acres of water meadow. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.
