A quiet paradise in the woods. A great place to connect with nature and relax. There is a 2 person kayak that are shared with our other treehouse guests and a single person kayak. Life jackets supplied. (2 adults and 3 children) Also a raft that goes out into lake on a cable for swimming. We have a 2 person swing to relax on in the sun. Wifi arriving soon. Treehouse by the Lake

A paradise in the woods, a place to connect with nature. Sit in tranquility with the living creatures near the lake. No wifi, we have NATURE. Along the path there is a seperate building which houses the toilet and a different building for shower. Treehouse comfortable for two. Fire pit located close to the lake and a trail that goes to the kayak and the raft. Relax on our Bali inspired swing. Sunbath on the wharf SHARED-Two person kayak and raft. Shower disabled in the cold winter mths.

The Shack---an ideal off-grid forest experience

Want to disconnect? Experience privacy and tranquility in a cozy forested hideaway! The Shack is an off-grid, comfy, one-room cabin (16 ft. x 20 ft.). It's a .5km hike on a rocky wood road from our home . No electricity, internet, or cell coverage. Can be "buggy" during blackfly season. Enterprise wood stove for heat + camp stove + BBQ. Fresh water + wood provided. Board games; over 60 books . Outhouse. Campfire pit. Access to canoe, life jackets and paddles (free)+ Internet at owner’s home.

The River Dome

Escape into nature with a stay in one of our luxury domes. Fully equipped kitchen with cookware, dishes, utensils, etc, as well as coffee and tea. Private bathroom with a toilet, shower, and essential toiletries. Two queen size beds with a loft space. The outdoor area includes a BBQ, private electric hot tub, and patio furniture. Kayaks are available during the summer months, as well as a communal fire pit. **Please note, there is a short walk down a hill to get to the dome**

The Boathouse - “Oceanfront” (Kayaks & Firepit)

Welcome to The Boathouse! Conveniently located in the Municipality of Barrington, known as the Lobster Capital of Canada. Unwind at this uniquely built, rustic cabin situated next to the ocean. At high tide, you will wake up to the sound of waves splashing beneath your window. Enjoy the beautiful views from the outside decks or take a kayak and explore. The wildlife is all around. Acres of land, a sandy beach hidden behind a well-groomed property sprinkled with beautiful tall trees disappearing into the Acadian forest. Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

The Owl's Nest Wilderness Cottage

Come experience farm life for yourself and stay at The Owl’s Nest Wilderness Cottage – our private, off grid retreat that boasts open pastures, wildlife and a warm Nova Scotia welcome! Tucked between Bear River, Annapolis Royal, and Kejimkujik National Park, Owl King Orchard is a 70 acre farm dotted with highland cattle, sheep, goats and winding forest trails. In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a small lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We are rural, although not remote. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!
