We are friendly and sociable but tend to leave our guests to their own devices. Dartmouth is a busy, history-filled place with much to offer. That includes great restaurants, chic art galleries, cosy pubs, and fun pop-up bars, together with a great community spirit. It's also famed for its Naval College and unique architecture. An easy ten minute walk from the studio takes you to the embankment where you can hop on a bus to Totnes for lunch and a fantastic shopping experience. Kingsbridge, a pretty riverside fishing town. The city of Exeter , Devons beautiful county town. and not forgetting Plymouth where you can visit the National Marine Aquarium, or walk along the historic Hoe where Sir Francis Drake once played bowls. You really dont need your car once you arrive here in Dartmouth, the bus even takes you to the stunning Blackpool Sands beach. The list of things to do and see is endless. Nearly all our visitors wish they had stayed longer.

We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.

We are in the beautiful medieval "river and market" town of Totnes, home to many independent shops and eateries, close to beaches, Dartmoor and many walking and hiking trails.
