Gypsy Haven

Gypsy Haven is nestled at the foot of the Bean mountain, right between the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers. We are only 15 mins from The Ocoee & Hiwassee Rivers, 19 miles to Cleveland, & about a 45 minute drive to Chattanooga. Enjoy white water rafting, fly fishing, mountain climbing, zip lining, horse back riding and more all within a short drive. You also have access to feed our sweet mules & Sir Spits a lot the alpaca! Note this is a guest house/ loft above our garage so you do walk up stairs.

Find peace and serenity in this newly built apt over our garage. 5 wooded acres of Hickory, Beech and Pine trees with a walking trail going to the fork in the road where you have to decide to go right or left or straight ahead. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis minutes away from Downtown Athens and Tennessee Wesleyan University. Attractions in Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Hiwassee and Ocoee Rivers are less than an hour away. Only a little further to Dollywood and Gatlinburg for any tourist activity you can imagine. The cottage offers a kitchen, queen size bed, TV, DVD player, and washer/ dryer. *Currently working on getting wifi in the cabin and there are not any actual peacocks on the farm.

And as this is a working cattle farm, premium beef is usually available for purchase while you're here.

The house is just 2 miles away from the interstate, restaurant, movie theater & shopping. Off of the main road in a quiet older subdivision. Great stop over if traveling I-75. The Ocoee River & Cherokee National Forest are within 20 minutes driving. The bathroom is just outside the bedroom. The bed is queen size. Lee University is 5.7 miles away. Omega Center International is 4.8 miles away, both are easy to get to. Coffee/tea available anytime.
