Our updated cabins are located 10 minutes from downtown Natchitoches, LA on 30 acres of gated property on Bayou Pierre. Upstairs the cabin has a bedroom with a king bed and a loft area with a queen bed and a twin bunk bed above and a twin trundle below. The living area, kitchen, and bathroom are downstairs. Come relax on the back porch on the swing. It is equipped with WIFI, smart TVs , basic kitchen supplies, bedding, a grill, etc. We have trails to explore and a floating dock in the bayou!

The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.

The Southern Retreat house is a step back in time with all the modern amenities and is just 19 miles from historic Front Street of Natchitoches. This peaceful 2 bedroom house that sleeps 4 is located on 5 acres of lakefront property. It’s beautiful antique decor along with breath taking views of cypress trees and spanish moss sets this place apart from any other. Come enjoy the scenic views of Black Lake.
