There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Outside guests have their own patio and garden area with seating

The cottage maintains many original features including the original stone floor and hearth. Guests will be staying upstairs over a village pub so can expect some noise until closing time,no food served in bar but menus for places that deliver left in space. Bar downstairs opens at 6.00 pm during week,Sundays bar opens at 2pm. Music some Saturday nights guests will be told when they book. Irish Story and Sing Night the Last Wednesday of every month till midnight which guests are welcome to visit songs and stories and a cup of tea half way through night

Douce Mountain cabin is a charming self contained little house situated at the foot of Douce Mountain. There is a living space with a stove and a kitchenette on the groundfloor . A ladder leads the loft with 2 beds. It is a very quiet place surrounded y nature. Our other guesthouse is about 100 metres further down . Our own farmhouse is about 500 metres away. It is ideal for someone looking for a very quiet place to relax and immerse themselves in nature.
