The Boathouse is a perfect place to recapture some peace in a hectic world. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. A great place to get away for a breath of fresh air. Sit by the year round creek and enjoy the soothing sounds of water meandering its way beneath the lush green trees as the sunlight peaks through the branches and dances on the water. Take a creek walk and enjoy the beauty of nature on a relaxing adventure. ( We now have high speed fiber wifi at the Boathouse!)

Laurel Hill Cabin

The "Cabin" is located at the entrance to Laurel Hill Wildlife Management Area. There are miles of horseback trails winding through over 14,000 acres within the WMA. There are 2 lakes with ample fishing. Trout are stocked numerous times throughout the year in both the VFW lake & Little Buffalo River. There are 29 miles of gravel roads open to horse traffic most of the year. Local attractions include Eagle Creek WMA, David Crockett State Park, Amish Country, and Crazy Horse Canoe rental.

You’ll love staying in this quiet, peaceful cabin in the woods because of its coziness, high ceilings, natural light, and location. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Come relax in our cottage on beautiful Shoals Creek. Enjoy your private cottage located on the same property as the owner's home, but with plenty of space in between for privacy. Brightly decorated with a full bath, kitchen and bedroom. Plus, two futons that make out into full size beds. Great swimming and fishing off the pier. Just 12 miles from downtown Florence if you'd like to visit or stay and totally relax on the lake.
