Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

We have a huge variety of wild flowers and bird life and our dark skies offer perfect opportunities for star gazing. We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

The Old Kitchen is part of Garth Farm which has been in co-host Edward's family since the 1800s. Set against the side of Garth mountain it enjoys beautiful views by day and stunning skies by night. It is ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers... The Old Kitchen is cosy and quirky, practical and unfussy: a single large space with sleeping area, small kitchen, dining and seating areas plus log burning stove. A shower room opens off the main space and there are French doors and a patio.

No 2 Cathelyd Colliery Stables is a dog friendly property renovated from a pit pony stables. Next door is No 1 that is slightly smaller and can be booked separately on Airbnb. There are walks on the doorstep being next to the Cwm Clydach bird reserve and the cottage has its own private valley walk with a waterfall. We are situated 3 miles from J45 of the M4 with easy access to Swansea, Gower and the Brecon Beacons. The Swansea Cycle path is on the doorstep. The town is a mile away.

The Old Exchange is the perfect couples retreat it offers luxury accommodation on the edge the Brecon Beacons. With good access to local attractions, Dan Yr Ogof, Zip world, Crag Y Nos, Hendryd Waterfall, stunning beaches and the Brecon Beacon National Park. The cottage has its own entrance with central heating and gas fire (Log burner look) for those cosy nights in, it has lounge, kitchen with breakfast bar, utility room, upstairs to bathroom and bedroom also has own patio in rear of cottage. The cottage is set within the village of Garnant, close to golf course and local eateries It is within easy reach of the M4. On the edge of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons.

Jacob’s Den is the perfect getaway! Our pods are situated in the countryside on a quiet working farm and livery yard, yet is conveniently only minutes away from the M4. This contemporary, spacious pod sleeps up to 2 people with a king-size bed. With its own en-suite and heating, the pod also has a TV & DVD player, kettle, toaster, microwave and a fridge. Complimentary tea, coffee and sugar are also provided. This pod has full use to its very own private hot tub!
