Clarion River Timberframe Cabin

The cabin is located on 650 acres of privately owned forest accessing the Clarion River and the North Country Hiking Trail, minutes from downtown, Clarion. Take a few steps out the door and trek the North Country Trail along gentle pathways or exert a little more energy to see the Scenic Loops. Next, cool down on your dock on the Clarion River Lake. Swim, fish ,kayak, boat or just relax in the sun. Finish the day dining on he River Overlook deck, the campfire, or a fine local restaurant.

Located at the end of a quiet lane, with a stunning view of the Allegheny River, our riverfront cabin is the perfect getaway to relax with family and friends. Nestled right between Tidioute and Warren, our cabin is close to many sites within the National Forest: Buckaloons, Heart's Content, Rocky Gap, etc. There's also a great view of Crull's Island, a 96 acre paradise within the Allegheny Wilderness Area. Be on the lookout for heron, osprey, waterfowl, deer, and the amazing bald eagle!

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

Situated in 9 acres of private woodland providing privacy yet located close to vacation amenities such as restaurants, stores, cycling, hiking trails, kayaking & tubing on the Clarion River, pony trekking, go-karting, fishing, hunting & more. Featuring a living room, dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeping loft, hot tub, patio with grill, deck, porch & fire-pit area.

Kick back and relax in our peaceful, cozy space. We have a wooded area that surrounds the back and side of the house. White Pine Cottage has all the modern amenities you want in a location that's convenient to everything ANF, Cook Forest, Clear Creek State Park, and the Clarion River have to offer. Check us out on FB/IG @whitepinecottage560 The cottage does not have WiFi, however Verizon cell phone reception is good in the area. Other wireless providers may be unreliable. During the winter months we highly recommend using vehicles with 4WD/AWD to access the property.
