As you arrive, you will be welcomed by the Japanese garden, where you can see the beautiful Japanese red maple in autumn time. The small house that was built about 70 years ago was now reborn as Mt. FUJI BASE HOSTEL SAMURISE KURA -蔵-, and has been welcoming guests from all over the world since 2017. We respected and maintained the traditional Japanese style in the process of refurbishment, so you could enjoy and experience the traditional Japanese housing. We offer 4 different types rooms [Ume(梅) Momiji(椛) Sakura(桜) Tsubaki(椿)] depending on the group size (a child counted as 1 person, only aged 6 and up acceptable). We can keep your luggage free of charge before you check-in and after check-out. We also do a bicycle hire, which is very convenient for cycling around Lake Kawaguchi looking over Mt. 3 min walk to Matsumoto castle and Nawate street. The Hostel faces a quiet street and there are some good-old restaurants, Izakaya bars and a public bath around there. The building is renovated traditional Japanese house so that you can enjoy cozy Japanese atmosphere and have a relaxing time on the Kotatsu, hammock and couch sofa in the common area. The room is Japanese-style dormitory room with bunk beds. Each bed has a reading light, outlets and a storage box for valuable items.

This is a newly refurbished modern Japanese style hostel in Kawaguchiko. The Twin Room (room size 6.6㎡) has the bunk bed for the maximum of 2 people. It is located about 10 minutes away on foot from Kawaguchiko station. We provide the following amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hairdryer, clothing hangers, Wi-Fi, laundry machines and car park. There is an air conditioner in each room. The members of staff are also here to help you with any tourist information!

3-minute walk to Matsumoto Castle and Nawate Street. The hostel is on a quiet street. Nearby, you can find traditional restaurants, izakaya, and a public bath. The building is renovated traditional Japanese house so that you can enjoy a cozy Japanese feeling here. In the common area, you can relax on a kotatsu, hammock, or couch :) The room is a corner room which has two single beds and a double bed so that you can stay with your friends or family.
