The accommodations are totally private with no shared walls or common entries/living areas, or other properties on the lot. Enjoy the large backyard with unique drought resistant landscaping. Relax in the shade of an avocado tree. Walk to endless dining and shopping options in the heart of Sunset Junction and Virgil Village or dine outside on the private patio. Totally renovated and remodeled, our perfect Silver Lake bungalow retains lots of it's original 1922 charm. It has an open floor plan with wood flooring, recessed LED lighting, and Central AC/heating throughout. The full kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances. GE gas range with oven and broiler. Microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Plenty of counter space to prep your favorite meal. The bathroom is super swank with a large free standing tub and waterfall shower. Luxury. Please note the bathtub is VERY big. If you have any sort of mobility issue, message us before booking. The living/dining area has been decorated with a nod to mid-century California bungalow design. It has a wall mounted Sony flat screen TV, Bose stereo, and 5G WIFI to stream the AppleTV. It's a great space to lounge and enjoy meals and entertainment. The spacious master bedroom has an Organic King mattress and a 4 door walk-in closet with floor to ceiling mirrors. It gets lots of light during the day and has a blackout curtain over the headboard for when you need extra sleep. The 2nd bedroom is smaller than the master, but has plenty of space for a comfortable queen sized bed. It has a desk (for when it is time to get down to work). It's also appointed with a walk-in closet. The big backyard has both an avocado and orange tree. It is landscaped with native, drought resistant plants. With a lighted outdoor dining area, it's the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor meal and drink, or just lounge in the California sun. You have access to the entire home. Including the driveway, front porch and back yard. Please note that the driveway is narrow, so only sedans and compact SUVs will fit. Send a text or message via the site for a quick response. The house is right in the middle of the Sunset Junction and Virgil Village neighborhoods of Silver Lake. It is one of the most vibrant, diverse and walkable locations in all of Los Angeles. For people who travel without cars, the Redline Metro stop is a short 5-10 minute walk from the property. It boasts quick access to Griffith Park, Hollywood, bars and nightlife, as well as countless dining and shopping options. There is close, convenient access to the Metro Red Line subway. You will be just a short ride to Hollywood Proper, Downtown Los Angeles, Santa Monica Beach and the entire city of Los Angeles. For drivers, we are near to the 101 Hollywood Freeway, making it a great stop on your California road trip. Free tandem parking for two cars is included. Explore close by Ventura Boulevard, a 20-mile stretch of shopping, restaurants, eclectic shops and more. Centrally located to Beverly Hills, beaches, museums and downtown, this area truly has it all. Please note that we have 2 very friendly dogs that live in the main residence. They are NEVER allowed in the guest house, whether we have guests in residence or not. If you or your family has an allergy or is otherwise disinclined to be around dogs, it's quite easy for us to make sure that they are confined to areas where guests won't interact with them when they are coming, going or in the backyard. If not, and you'd like to meet our pooches, then "woof-woof," because they'd love to meet you!

Studio by the Beach with Separate Entrance

Open the sliding door to let the gentle sea breezes waft in and settle down to stream a favorite show on the Smart TV. The interior blends coastal touches with boho chic, and there are little luxuries like a work space and secluded private outdoor space. I adhere to the CDC cleaning protocols. I use UV C light for added disinfecting and sanitizing of the Studio, and have also added a Dyson air purifying fan and heater to insure you have clean air. This studio is located on the first floor of my three story home. The studio shares the first floor with the garage so you don't have any shared walls. You have two windows, one in the bathroom and a sliding glass door in the bedroom, they bring in light and the sea breeze but have no views. While this studio is private you may hear footsteps above, music drifting in from other parts of the house, and the sounds that come from everyday living. You'll have one parking space available on the right side of the driveway. More free parking is usually available at the end of the street, 15 houses down on panama. During the day there's extra parking at kiddie beach. I live on the two top floors of the house so i'm easily accessible for as much or as little interaction as needed. The setting on a quiet street is only half a block from channel Island harbors Kiddie Beach and 1.5 blocks to Silver Strand Beach, a popular surf spot and vantage point for catching the sunset. Watch for whales and discover a yoga studio, corner market, and salon, all only moments away. Hollywood by the sea has unique sounds too. You'll hear sea lions, boat horns, and on occasion a fog horn. Every morning at 8am you'll hear our national anthem, and at sunset you'll hear taps. You'll have to pay attention or you'll miss it. It's one of many thing I love about this area.

1924 Spanish Retreat in the Hollywood Hills

Wake up to city views and soak up the sunshine at a classic Spanish Hollywood hideaway with Bohemian flavor. Eat breakfast on the terrace and look out over the treetops swaying in the cool breeze, before a hike to the famous Hollywood Sign. Gated, Spanish charmer in the Hollywood Hills, between Beachwood Canyon and the Hollywood Dell. Decks with views and outdoor living space/patio with hillside mediterranean gardens. House is divided - Guest will stay in the Two-Story Main House while Hosts live in the back of house with separate entrance. We are well-traveled creative types on premises in the divided back house. We'll meet you when you arrive and show you the house & yard, and then be available by text or call for any questions. We are more than happy to interact with guests, but also respect that some guests may want to keep to themselves. Walk to Hollywood, Beachwood Canyon, or Franklin Village. Uber or Lyft comes in seconds and takes minutes to Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, and West Hollywood. Griffith Park is minutes from the house. Walk to the Hollywood and Vine Metro Red Line Station, The Flyaway bus from LAX drops you off at Hollywood and Argyle just 5 blocks away. It is only 8 dollars. Uber and Lyft cars are everywhere Not Handicap Accessible - we are up two flights of outdoor stairs to enter the house, and bedrooms are up another flight of stairs. This house is not child-proofed so not suitable for children, there are floor to ceiling windows with no child guards.We do have a lovely doodle named Theodore. He is hypoallergenic and does not shed. He is kept in a separate yard and you won't be interacting with him unless you would like to of course!

Spacious Tudor Home with Deck and Hillside View

Enjoy watching the sunset from the deck with beautiful hillside and garden views. This enchanting English Tudor home, mixes vintage details with modern amenities. Entry to the unit is through the garage which leads to a small lobby, and then to the stairs to the second story unit. The entire second floor is yours and includes the living room with a vaulted ceiling and dining area, kitchen complete with refrigerator, microwave, stove and breakfast bar, 2 bathrooms, both recently remodeled and master bath with a deep soaking tub, large master bedroom with walk in closet, guest bedroom, and balcony with a hillside view. You have access to the second story balcony and the backyard on the ground level. There are patio tables and lounge chairs for outdoor entertaining and relaxing. In the backyard, there are several fruit trees which include cherry, plum, apple, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon and peach. When in season, guests are welcome to help themselves to the fruits. I reside in the unit on the first floor and I am generally available to answer questions or assist if you need anything. Located in historic View Park, a little known picturesque hillside community with panoramic views of the mountains and downtown LA. It's perfectly positioned a mere 9 miles to downtown, 8 miles to LA's most popular beaches, and 5 miles to LAX. To get around the city, you can use Uber, Lyft, or public transportation is also available within less than a mile walk. Guests will be asked to provide a valid photo ID at the time of check in if there is no profile picture.
