Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. There is always a chance of getting stung, So if you are allergic to bees please choose a different experience. We want you to come away feeling alive and in tune with the natural world. You will be wearing a full bee suit.

A smiling face will greet you as soon as you arrive at our launch site. We will provide you with ice cold drinking water, a waterproof bag to protect your cellphone, keys, wallet, etc. We'll walk down to the kayak launch area and go over all safety precautions including proper use of your life jacket & provide a detailed paddle lesson. Once we are ready to paddle, we will embark on a two hour kayak adventure exploring beautiful Sarasota Bay and the world famous Lido Key mangrove tunnels. I'll tell you all about the interesting history of our beautiful bay as well as talk to you about the incredible flora and fauna we encounter! If we are lucky, we may even be visited be amazing dolphins and gentle manatees. Then, we will journey through Lido Key's spectacular mangrove tunnels while we learn of their importance to our coastal ecosystem. Once our tour is over, we will send you on your way with memories that will last a lifetime. Important note: I will message you immediately after you book to get your preference on single kayaks or tandems. Take a clear kayaking adventure through Shell Key Preserve, a tropical paradise with unique marine habitats. Your knowledgeable ecotour guide will welcome you and provide brief paddling and safety instructions. Then, you’ll be loaded into your tandem clear kayak and off on a 2-hour adventure! Your tour guide leads the way around the mangrove islands, through the shallows, and to the beach. If the tide is high, your guide will show you a hidden mangrove tunnel. You’ll also take a break at Shell Key Beach, where you can collect shells, take in the views, and be surrounded by nature. This is an experience you'll never forget; equal parts serene and adventurous and appropriate for all ages and experience levels! My glass bottom kayaks are the only of it's kind on the Silver River! They come with a sit-in-top design, which means they are well suited to all-weather paddling. The cockpit is dropped lower into the boat, which means stability is greatly increased, paddler comfort is enhanced, and wave impact is reduced. It's nearly impossible to tip or flip! My kayaks come standard with a transparent hull for underwater viewing all the way to the bottom, even in the deepest springs in the river. There's plenty of room for a comfortable, stable ride! Meet your experienced ghost tour guide in the lobby of the Lakeside Inn for a two-hour interactive tour of this historic hotel. The property has many stories of paranormal activity collected by employees, guests, and overnight investigations that we have participated in. Guests are issued EMF detectors, and we welcome to you bring your own equipment to try to capture evidence. We do ask that the equipment doesn't disturb other guests and is handheld. We will be investigating different parts of the hotel and different locations in town. Sept-Feb tours meet at 6:45 with a 7pm start time. March-August tours meet at 7:45 with a 8pm start time. Guests Meet our yacht at the Hotel Zamora boat dock in St. Pete Beach and depart for a 3 hour tour of St Pete Beach, Pass-a-grille, Terra Verde, Shell Key, the Gulf of Mexico, and Bunces Pass. We offer the Ultimate Adventure on our Glass Bottom LED illuminated Kayak Sunset to Night Tours! The extremely powerful self developed underwater light system that we use illuminates the sea floor and sea-life! We'll start off in mangrove canals and then visit mangrove shorelines and look for different species of seabirds & learn about the mangroves and their benefits. Then we'll explore the Amazing grass flats and look for different crustaceans, stingrays and fish. It's also a regular hangout for Manatees as well.
