Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

We offer private parking for up to 4 cars and 3 outdoor seating areas. The property has 3 double bedrooms, one house bathroom with a bath & shower & one bathroom with walk in shower. The kitchen, dining & living ares are open plan, ideal for socialising. The property also has WiFi & Sky TV, a wood burning stove and an outdoor fire pit and BBQ.

Drakes Cottage

Drakes Cottage is situated within the courtyard of a former 18th century coaching stables. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk away, via public footpath through the surrounding fields or country lanes. Famous for its 12th century Priory, 2 Michelin starred restaurants & delicious sticky toffee pudding. The Edwardian town of Grange is a 5 minute drive with plenty of amenities and a lovely promenade walk. The southern end of Lake Windermere is a 12 minute drive.

A delightful fully equipped first floor apartment for two. (A babe in arms is welcome) 1 small pet allowed The apartment is a minute walk to all the amenities of Cartmel which includes the Race course and the famous Michelin starred Restaurants. We are just far enough from the villiage centre to be peaceful and relaxing. Tea and coffee is provided together with a welcoming drink. We also provide a free permit for on street Parking just outside the front door.

The Apartment on the Square is in a prime position right in the square of the historic and picturesque village of Cartmel. Offering a convenient level walk to the amenities on offer such as individual Shops, Public Houses, Village Store, and world famous eateries.
