Experience the unique outdoor rainfall shower, explore the lake with provided kayaks, hike the private trail to a water cascade & finish the day unwinding under the stars while having a lakeside bonfire! There is also an outdoor shower with both hot & cold water. Inside, you’ll find designer log furniture, LED fireplace, Bell FibreOp high-speed internet, and a 60-inch Samsung TV.

The cabin sits at waters edge, in a saltwater bay with easy water access and quiet woodlands behind. Solar powered with amenities including wifi and lights. Propane heat, cook stove, water. Firepit, bbq, picnic table. Just minutes north of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Less than 1km from sandy barrier beaches and ocean swimming. Two kayaks on site

Whiskey Mountain Cottage is located just minutes off the beautiful world famous Cabot Trail. This charming one bedroom cottage is situated in beautiful Aspy Bay and is available year round. A new 6 seater hot tub has just been added for guests to enjoy. Just minutes away from Cabot’s Landing provincial park, North Highlands Nordic cross country skiing and snowshoeing, gorgeous local hiking trails, Cape Breton Highland’s National park, whale watching, canoeing, kayaking, and so much more.

The Trailhead Guest Cottage

Our peaceful oceanfront guest cottage is situated at the head of the 9.5 km Pollett's Cove hiking trail.  We recommend a two night stay - first night, settle in with a beverage, evening sunset and star gazing.  Wake to coffee and farm fresh breakfast delivered to your door step (except in August when we are on vacation), before hitting the trail to Pollett's Cove, the Skyline or any of the 30 other nearby national park trails. Have a swim, and return to a hot outdoor shower. Repeat!
